WHY IS POLYGAMY NOT SOCIALLY ACCEPTED?

Why is being in a polygamist relationship so frowned upon in society today?

I just wanna know why polygamy is so frowned upon in society. Every time I bring this conversation up to a women they are quick to say that we are in different time period, it wouldn't work, or my favorite one, I'm not sharing my man. But lets look at this idea from a reasonable and logical point of view. I did some research and according to the US census, women out number men by 2 million. If polygamy was so bad, why would the wold give us so many women. So that means it suppose to be 2 million lonely women out there that will never had a man or be married? Its 2 million women that will always be the side chick, the accomplish to a cheating men, or just single forever. I think no women should be single and lonely and polygamy is the only solution I can think to make that possible.

Pros and cons of a polygamist relationship?

Cons:

There would obviously be jealousy at the beginning.

Somebody is going to feel like the other one is getting more attention.

Pros:

One less lonely woman in the world.

Multiple incomes could have a very stable home.

Both women could have a best friend.

Most importantly, a happy man which means a happy everyone.

A low risk of a man cheating, because men have the inclination to want different women.
